The practical bits: booking, paying, cancelling, and what you need before you turn up.
Booking and payment
Contact us to reserve a place. Enrolment and payment are processed through ABC First Aid’s training system, and you will receive your online theory link once you are enrolled.
Your place is confirmed when payment has been made. Places are limited and are allocated in the order they are paid for.
Before you attend
Complete the online theory. You must finish it before your practical session. If you arrive without it done, we cannot assess you and you will need to rebook.
Bring a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Every student doing nationally recognised training in Australia needs one. It is free and takes a few minutes at usi.gov.au. Without a verified USI, a statement of attainment cannot be issued to you.
Wear something you can kneel in. CPR is assessed on the floor on a manikin. You will be kneeling and leaning over for several minutes at a time.
Cancellations and refunds
We apply the policy published in the ABC First Aid Student Handbook:

Approved refunds are processed within 14 days.
To cancel or request a refund, email us at firstaidqld@gmail.com and we will arrange it with ABC First Aid. Please put it in writing rather than phoning, so your request is timestamped. That matters for the 24 hour cut-off above, and it means nothing gets lost.
If we cancel. If we have to cancel a session for any reason, you will be offered a place at the next available session or a full refund, your choice, with no administration fee.
Late arrival and no-shows
Assessment runs to a schedule and starts on time. If you arrive after the session has started you may not be able to be assessed, in which case the cancellation policy above applies.
Transferring your place
You can move to a different session at no cost if you email us at least 24 hours before your booked session. Inside 24 hours, the cancellation policy applies.
Group and workplace bookings
Group bookings are quoted individually and the terms are set out in your quote. Numbers must be confirmed at least 5 business days before the session.
Your certificate
Statements of attainment are issued by ABC First Aid, RTO 3399, once you have been assessed as competent and your USI has been verified.

Complaints and appeals
If something goes wrong, email us at firstaidqld@gmail.com and we will do our best to sort it out. Writing it down helps both of us, because we can look into it properly rather than working from memory.

Your information
We collect your name, contact details and USI so that your training can be delivered and your certificate issued. Student records are provided to ABC First Aid as the issuing RTO. Their privacy policy is here.
