First aid & CPR
Peregian Beach, Sunshine Coast
Theory online at home, then a short practical session in person. Small groups, local trainer, no full-day classroom.
Two courses, both done in an afternoon
CPR Refresher
Complete the online theory at home, then come in for the practical. Recommended every 12 months, and most workplaces, surf clubs and childcare centres ask for it annually.
Provide First Aid Refresher
Includes CPR. This is the one most workplaces mean when they ask for a first aid certificate, and it needs renewing every 3 years.
Group rates available on application. Certificates are issued by ABC First Aid, RTO 3399.
Three steps, and you are done
Book your date
Pick a session and pay online. You will get a confirmation email with the venue and your online theory link.
Do the theory at home
Work through it in your own time before the day. This is what keeps the in-person part short.
Come in for the practical
Hands on a manikin, a live scenario, assessed on the spot. CPR has to be demonstrated in person, so this part cannot be done online.
What the big chains cannot give you
Actually local
We are at Peregian Beach. Not Maroochydore, not Brisbane, not a room you drive 40 minutes each way to sit in.
Small groups
You get on the manikin properly and you get your questions answered. That does not happen in a room of forty people.
Your day back
Theory at home means the in-person part is 30 minutes or 2 hours, not a full day off work.
Rod, not a call centre
Rod has been training first aid on the Sunshine Coast for years. He trains you, and you can ring him.
We come to you
If you have a team that needs first aid tickets, we run the practical at your workplace. Your staff do the theory online beforehand, we bring the gear, and nobody loses a day.
Cafes, childcare centres, schools, trades, surf clubs, gyms and aged care, from Noosa to Maroochydore.
Book online, confirmed instantly
All of our current dates are on the booking page. Pick a session, pay online, and your enrolment and theory link come through straight away.
The things people ask
Is this nationally recognised training?
Yes. Certificates are issued by ABC First Aid, RTO 3399.
Can I do the whole course online?
No, and be careful of anyone who tells you otherwise. CPR has to be demonstrated in person, on a manikin, in front of an assessor. What you can do online is the theory, which is exactly why our in-person sessions are so short.
How often do I need to renew?
CPR every 12 months, Provide First Aid every 3 years. Those are the recommendations in the Queensland First aid in the workplace Code of Practice 2021, and most workplaces treat them as requirements. Full detail on the CPR course page and the first aid course page.
I have never done a first aid course. Can I still come?
Yes. These sessions suit people renewing, but you are welcome either way. Give Rod a call and he will tell you which course you need.
What do I need to bring?
Yourself, and your online theory completed beforehand. Wear something you can kneel on the floor in.
Do you come to workplaces?
Yes, anywhere from Noosa to Maroochydore. Your staff do the theory online, we bring the manikins and gear to your site. See workplace and onsite training.
How long until I get my certificate?
Certificates are issued by ABC First Aid after your assessment. Confirm the real timeframe with ABC and put it here. Do not guess.
